Terms of Service

By using live n frame (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. These terms are between you and live n frame, the company that operates this product.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we recommend enabling two-factor authentication if your Clerk plan supports it.
• You may have one account per role. You can sign up as either an Actor or a Casting Director, but not both on the same account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Upload content you don't have the right to use, including scripts you don't own or aren't authorized to perform.
• Misrepresent your identity, credits, training, or representation.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or discriminate against any individual or group.
• Post fake casting calls, fraudulent compensation, or castings for projects you are not actually casting.
• Solicit money, sexual content, or anything outside the legitimate casting process from actors.
• Attempt to bypass subscription gates, scrape user data, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Use the AI scene partner or feedback engine to create content for purposes other than personal audition practice (e.g., generating commercial voiceover content using ElevenLabs through our integration).
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without an express written agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

You retain ownership of recordings you create, scripts you upload, profile content you write, and casting posts you publish. By using the Service, you grant live n frame a limited license to host, display, transmit, and process your content for the purpose of operating the Service — including sending it to AI providers for transcription and analysis, and delivering submissions to the casting directors you choose.

We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your audition recordings to train AI models. Your content remains yours.

• Free tier: No charge. Includes practice, AI feedback, the casting board, profile, and notifications. Does not include the ability to submit to casting directors.
• Actor Pro tier: $19/month after a 7-day free trial. Includes everything in Free plus unlimited submissions to casting directors. Billed monthly via Stripe until cancelled.
• Casting Director: Free in v1. We may introduce paid tiers in the future with at least 30 days notice to existing CD accounts.
• Trial: 7-day free trial on Pro. You enter a payment method at signup; you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges.
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal. You retain Pro access through the end of your current paid period; we don't prorate refunds for unused time on cancelled subscriptions.
• Refunds: Within 14 days of your first charge, we'll refund the full amount on request, no questions. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. Email support@livenframe.com.
• Tax: Sales tax and VAT are calculated automatically by Stripe Tax based on your billing address.
• Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice before any price increase to existing subscribers. You can cancel before the new rate takes effect.

When you submit a recording to a casting post, you authorize us to share that recording, your AI scores, and your profile snapshot with the casting director who posted it. The casting director may view, share with their team, and use that submission for the purpose of evaluating you for the role.

Casting directors agree not to redistribute submissions outside their casting team without your consent, but we cannot guarantee compliance. Submitting a recording is a professional act; we recommend the same level of caution you would use submitting through any other casting service.

Submission outcomes (shortlist, pass, casting decision) are at the sole discretion of the casting director. live n frame is not a party to any employment relationship that may result.

The AI scoring system is a tool for self-improvement, not a guarantee of casting success. Scores are computed from a limited transcription and analysis of your performance. Real casting decisions involve many factors that AI cannot evaluate: physical fit, chemistry with other cast, schedule availability, budget, and the casting director's creative vision. A high score does not mean you will book the role; a low score does not mean you wouldn't.

We encourage you to use scores as one signal among many in your preparation, alongside coaching, peer feedback, and your own instincts.

We aim for high availability but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Clerk, Firebase, Stripe, ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Anthropic, Resend), and unforeseen issues may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses you incur during outages.

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing us. Your data will be deleted within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of the platform, or non-payment. We will refund any unused prepaid time on a Pro subscription if we terminate without cause.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, live n frame is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages — including lost casting opportunities, lost income, or emotional distress.

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email and in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which live n frame is registered. Disputes will be resolved in good faith first; if not resolved, they will be settled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
